Is it really odd to be in your 30s and never been to a gyno?
So basically, yes, I am in my 30s, and have never been to gyno. I never had a serious relationship, never been sexually active, have always had pretty regular periods without major complications, etc. I feel like I should go, just to finally go and get it over and done with (at least until the next annual visit),but am also afraid of basically being told off for not starting to see a gyno sooner. Am I the only one with this type of fear?

So basically, yes, it is a little unusual.
I'd say if you've not been sexually active and had no vaginal issues that it's not the end of the world if you haven't been yet, I could see why it'd be easy to be apathetic towards the idea of a visiting a gynecologist. Of course I'm talking as someone from the UK, where by your age you'd only have been expected to have had two PAP smears - it seems in US (where I guess you are) gyno visits are far more common.
As for being 'told off' - you're an adult woman and the gynecologist is not your momma, they have no right what-so-ever to tell you off for not visiting sooner or make you feel in any way inferior for waiting until now. Their #1 priority should be to you and your health, making you feel bad does not help with this at all both in general and because if you have a bad first experience you're less likely to go back when you need to.

You aren't the only one but you need to start having your annual pap tests.
