Seniors, Can we still use our own avatars on YA?

Once the facility is back again we might be able to add our own avatars. All we know is that Yahoo is making changes on the avatar and profile facilities and they are not available, and there is no date when it will be available to us. I have been waiting to put a new avatar picture on since they made changes to this site.

Not at the moment, or the last several months, either. Maybe later, maybe never. I like to change my avatar fairly often and they took that away along with other fun things in our profiles and made it almost sterile.

I haven't been able to do that in quite a while, I had a hard time keeping my old avatar up, seems it was "monkied with" if you understand.

You can't, they disable that feature and changing of your nickname too. they are supposed to be fixing it and they did say they will let us know with a banner at the top of the pages when it's fix.

Like I've said before when it's not broke why fix it....:)

I have been wanting to change mine also since I was used to changing it every week.

It also has been going on a year now since we last could change it too.

We haven't been able to change them for several months. It's probably a glitch, but an annoying one. I would like to change mine from Shy Lisa to President Lisa, but, alas.

Nope. Yahoo are de personalising this site. They have said we will be able to, but that was about a year ago.
