Why does Outlook 2013 capitalize the first letter of each line?

When I'm typing an email, I return the line since it doesn't look so good when it's too long.

When I do, Outlook capitalizes the first letter of the next line.

How can I turn that off?

    Open up outlook

Then click File, click Options, click Mail, then on the right side click Spelling and Autocorrect, then click Autocorrect options, then click Autocorrect tab (if it doesn't open to this tab, and it should). Then uncheck the box beside "capitalize first letter of sentences".

It should fix the issue you are referring to. But at the same time it's going to disable the feature of automatically capitalizing the first letter of any new sentence, so you'll need to remember to do so manually. This isn't a problem with most users but for some it could be, and thus might be for you.

I don't know why you would want to turn that off, but you can, and it's under the AutoCorrect options:

File > Options > Mail > Spelling and Autocorrect... > Proofing > AutoCorrect Options...

There you will find the option to disable capitalizing the first letter of each sentence.
