2 AnswersYahoo Answers5 years agoWhy does Outlook 2013 capitalize the first letter of each line?
When I'm typing an email, I return the line since it doesn't look so good when it's too long.
When I do, Outlook capitalizes the first letter of the next line.
How can I turn that off?
2 AnswersSoftware6 years agoMy Car Charger lights up, so why won't it charge my phone?
I had a 2010 Nissan Sentra for a couple of years. I used my car charger up until a few weeks ago. I discovered my phone wasn't charging in the car. I had different chargers and tried all of them, including USB and direct charging. Each charger lit up, so I know it's not the fuse. Also, the phone charges fine with a home charger.
1 AnswerMaintenance & Repairs6 years agoWhat are the flavors of these E. Wedel candies from Poland?
We received these candies while out trick-or-treating on Halloween. They are from the Polish candymaker E. Wedel. I found their website, but no explanation of what the flavors or ingredients are. We have Pierrot, Manilla (I assume vanilla), Batamutka and Nygusek.
Does anyone know what these flavors are or where I can find the info? I tried Polish candy sites and Wikipedia, but hit a dead end there.
2 AnswersEthnic Cuisine9 years agoWhy did I get a weird fake Yahoo Answer alert in my email?
I submitted a question about restaurants in Chicago and almost immediately got an Answer alert email. The problem is there was no answer on the site and the email simply said "2012Sorching summer comes, in order to thank everyone, characteristic, novel ..." whatever that means.
Has the site been hacked or is it just breaking down?

I'm looking for an inexpensive place in Chinatown itself with an "exotic" decor and good, basic food for a family with kids..
3 AnswersChicago9 years agoEnough power for a new video card?
I just received a gift of a Sapphire Radeon HD5450 (1G DDR3) for my Dell XPS 400. The computer has 375 watt power supply but the card calls for 400 watts. Can I get away with 375 watts or do I need to trade it in for a lower powered card?
1 AnswerOther - Hardware9 years agoI want to upgrade my video card, but will what I want be compatible?
My video card is a PCIe x16 DVI DDR 128mb.
If I got a PCIe 2.0 x16 DDR3 1GB, would that still be compatible with my 4yr old Dell?
1 AnswerDesktops9 years agoDay trip into Canada?
My family is going to Mackinac Island for a vacation next week. I just figured out that the Canadian border is only an hour's drive north. We thought it would be fantastic to take our 8 yr old on an "adventure" to a foreign country.
The problem is my passport is expired, my wife's is still good and our 8 year old doesn't have one. What would we need to cross the border for a few hours and come back the same way on the same day? Do we need passports or are driver's licenses and a birth certificate enough?
6 AnswersOther - Canada10 years agoDoes my 2002 Intrepid need to be "rebooted" after a battery change?
I have a 2002 Dodge Intrepid with remote start and door locks. I got a new battery a couple of days ago from a national chain I won't name (rhymes with Tep Toys). After getting my car back I started it and discovered the radio, alarm and door locks no longer worked.
After some arguing and push back from them, they checked and found a number of fuses had burned out during the service. After replacing the blown fuses, most everything worked again, but the locks still didn't work, even using the master switch on the driver's door.
I was told by the service manager to just take my car back to the dealer and have it reprogrammed, there was nothing they could do and this happened all the time. That seemed like a weak excuse to just get me out of the store. I've had the batteries changed before and never had this problem. Were they just giving me a line?
3 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoWhat kids' movie (I think from the 90's) had this scene?
Two girls were making pig faces at a dog or something when a boy ran up and slapped them on the back, causing their faces to freeze up. The girls lookrf at each other, screamed and ran off.
It was a goofy kids movie and I think two kids were talking and one was telling the other about the dangers of making faces.
2 AnswersMovies1 decade agoWhere can I find the 2009 edition of the "Disney Junior Encyclopedia of Animated Characters"?
I have been looking for this for weeks (ISBN:9781423116707). I need to find it for my son's 7th birthday, before we go on vacation to Disney World. He wants the characters to sign their own pages.
I know, it's listed at Amazon.com and elsewhere, but they don't have the book IN STOCK. In fact almost every listing I've come across is just a reseller for Amazon.
I've unsuccessfully bought the book in 3 different Ebay transactions and through 4 different online stores (I found out afterward that three stores were just Amazon resellers ). I had to get a refund all 7 times because the vendors admitted afterward they didn't actually have the book! Twice I had to go through PayPal Fraud Claims just get my money back from sellers who sold a book they didn't have and refused to respond to my emails.
I did find it for sale on the Amazon.com marketplace for anywhere from $57 -$250 dollars, which is simply a rip off, Disney lists the book at $12.99 retail. They have it on their website ($12.99) as available, but don't even have it in their own online store.
If anyone knows of a reliable source at a realistic price with an actual inventory I would greatly appreciate it!
1 AnswerComics & Animation1 decade agoWhich of the LARGE beef roasts are the tenderest, without going as high as tenderloin, etc.?
I'm doing a dinner for 160 and we would like to get several large roasts. But I can't pay $8/lb for so much meat. What would be a good alternative to the high end cuts? I need to roast them, so crockpot or braising alternatives wouldn't really work.

3 AnswersMovies1 decade agoTop 5 Turkey brands news article on Yahoo?
A few days ago Yahoo had a short article about the top five best brands of turkey available for Thanksgiving. I remember Butterball came in 3rd or 4th, but that's it.
I can't find the article anywhere and I can't remember the top brand, which was $2/lb and available at most major supermarkets.
Does anyone have any idea what I'm talking about?
1 AnswerMedia & Journalism1 decade agoWhat references or resources are available about making reproduction antique gameboards?
I thought a hobby of making antique looking chess, checkers, chinese checkers, etc., game boards would be fun. I just can't find any reference materials or websites that will help me in designing the proper size board, along with the look and feel.
Does anyone know of any good woodworking, antiquing or hobby books about this?
