Do people send things to them, like old VCR tapes?

The Alaskan Bush people from the show consist of the 9 family members under the Browns. There are the parents Billy and Ami, along with their children Bear, Gabe, Noah, Bam Bam, Matt, Snowbird and Rain.

They are bushmen, which means they reside in rural, undeveloped areas living off the land. Because of that, they feel the don't need much money, as the land fulfills most of their needs (food and shelter). This gives them a sense of freedom. When they do need things that others have, they usually barter it or trade, thus how they got the old VCR tapes.

They're NOT cave people, for crying out loud... they just live "off the grid." They neither receive nor want charity, and often live a subsistence lifestyle. If they want electricity, they use their generator and (believe it or not) might even watch a movie on a Blu-ray disk. And what do you mean by, "their real names???"
