Can you suggest a replacement for my 2012 Nexus 7?
I ve had the Nexus since the month it came out, and I love it. Until the recent upgrade to Android 5.0, it s been great, but now it s slow and buggy, even with the two updates they ve put out since. I ve tried cleaning it up and paring back the amount of apps and space I use, but I m still just having trouble even using it for gets news updates.
I want to get a new tablet, but I don t know what direction to take. Without a new Nexus in the last 2 years, I feel like I should be able to find a better tablet that s been put out more recently, but the Samsung doesn t seem to have any better specs than the Nexus 2013, and the LG just isn t seeming to get me there, either.
Can you suggest an Android alternative that I might be able to comfortably switch from my Nexus to?

after about the fifth update mine works almost half as well as before the "upgrade" the only other tablet I have had is the first two nook tablets and even as glitchy as my Nexus 7 is now I think it is still better than the first two nook tablets. My phone (oneplus) works okay with 5.0.2 but it was made after Lollipop existed. I might have tried Nexus 4 if the Lollipop "upgrade" worked better on Nexus 7. I did the hard reset and removed and reloaded apps which helped but didn't make great.

Umm. The n7 is very good if you don't upgrade. You can downgrade it if you want but i am not sure if its good.
