my father has a tropical fish tank (fresh water , no salt ) will cold water mussels live happily in it as I think he tends to over feed .?

    Obviously (or maybe not?), cold water mussels need to live in cold water. They'll die in a tropical tank. You might as well chop them up and feed them to your fish.

    The key terms here are tropical and coldwater. No coldwater animal will do well in tropical conditions.
