It looks like he's trying to get Hillary elected. His ego, antics, and name calling have alienated independent voters and the Republican Party base is being further divided.

There is evidence to support the idea that Trump is trying to sabotage the Republican Party's campaign. It's probably just Trump trying to satiate his narcissistic personality.
