Why am I attracted to the Darkness so much?
Ever since I can remember, my favorite color was black, I always stay up late at night and hardly ever go out, when at home I always have the blinds shut, I find I am attracted a lot more to girls with dark hair than light and even consider most black women to be more attractive than white women even though I myself am a white man.
I always wear black, my whole wardrobe is coated in it, most of my personal preferences wind up being geared toward the darker side of things, I always like the anti hero in any story and the personality traits even though I consider myself to be a person of morals I sometimes wonder what I would be like if I didn't.
Is this normal?

its normal......My favourite colour is black too....I have coloured most of my works in cupboard with Black....My dresses are black most.... I am always like to be awake at nights with Dark movies....I find all my Country (India) girls have pure black hair and find them more attractive than blonde.......few might say black is unlucky what usually considered in my region but its all are not true....my mom some time asked me to change my fav colour but now she itself feels Black is One of the Best

Darkness does not have anything to do with negative personality traits.
Darkness does not have anything to do with race.
Darkness is the result of an absence of photons in the visible light spectrum. Everything is there as normal in the dark, you just can't see it. It doesn't become immoral or otherworldly. That's just stupid.
Anything you associate with it psychologically exists purely in your own fevered imagination. To me you sound like a teenie desperately trying to come to terms with all those hormones rolling around your head.

I had a black period. Now not gothic but my clothes definitely had to be black, shirts, shoes, trousers. How closer to black how nicer.
It is a very safe and warm color to wear. Very protective in ways.
You might have a gothic slant, gothic doesn't means emo-depressed. No Gothic is about enjoying the finer things of life or ought we say the things not everybody seems to agree with in life.
Even nowadays, I wear allot of colors, but I enjoy the cynical part of life. Give me a song like Crawling from Linking Park and to me it is a delightful happy song.
So no troubles no bad ;) Be what and who you are as long as you are yourself.
