This is actually possibly the first year in a while that one of them actually deserves to win it - Messi. Messi didn't deserve it in 2012 and Ronaldo hasn't deserved the last two. But aye, it's a glorified popularity contest. Amazes me that the likes of Xavi and Iniesta have no BD while that cvnt has three. The power of media and celebrity.

Gotze has no chance, he had a bad season last season, everyone keeps saying how talented he is, and I agree, but he needs to start showing it in a big way, last year he was not good enough.
