Is public nudity illegal where you live?
I see questions about having an American Bottomless Holiday and the responses it garners and I worry about the rest of the country.

Here in Florida, simple non-sexual nudity isn't illegal on the state level. The "indecent exposure" law doesn't apply if one is simply nude without doing anything indecent. The courts ruled that simply being naked, by itself, isn't indecent.
Be that as it may, many counties and cities here do have local laws against nudity. Children below a certain age are often exempted and many of the laws allow for areas to designated for it. But they rarely are. A wonderful exception is Haulover Beach in north of Miami. There, the county not only allows it, but has designated an area of the beach "clothing optional". That section is extremely popular (more than the rest of the beach is), with ample parking, lifeguards, facilities, food vendors, police patrols, and everything else that you'd expect from a good urban beach.
