Perfection is a good goal to aim for but the world being what it is, you have to accept coming close most of the time.

There are two different satisfactions in how people perceive perfection. One person might be chasing for the greater good and the other one might be chasing for something that is harmful for them and for others in the long run.
To truly expand and grow, one has to let go of selfishness and egotism, greed and wrongful power, that's where chasing true perfection and growth lies.
