how to ask for more hours at work?

I've worked at Wal-Mart for 3 months now and I've been getting no less then 32 hours a week but for nearly three weeks I've been getting at max 25 hours and I need more hours to help with an family issue.so how should I go about asking for more hours

    You can just ask your manager, but that doesn't mean you'll get them.
