My offset umbrella will not stay up. The crank seems to be broken. The umbrella goes up but then goes down minutes later. How do I fix? Thx?

I will presume that you are meaning to write one of two things - (1) the umbrella will open up, then collapse again or (2) the pole that extends will extend, then collapse again................for # 1 - there should be a clip that holds the umbrella in the open position ; use it.............for # 2 - probably need to replace the pole, unless you want to drill a hole thru the pole so that when the pole is extended, you can put a piece of round metal into the drilled hole to keep the pole from collapsing
