Anyone else not receive their final paycheck from CVS?

Friend worked for CVS for a few weeks. His final paycheck was supposed to be sent to the store. Not done. Told it was mailed to him. Going on two weeks and he hasn't received it. The information he was given by HR is different than that give to store manager. Has this happen to anyone else? He says CVS was horrible to work for. People discouraged from taking lunch breaks with " not required" to take your breaks line. Fellow employees did not know they were " entitled" by law to take them.

Our county tax department received a check for $15.00 with the tag # of our old truck. It's not due until later in the year, so they sent it to us to check out. These people do not want to talk to you at all. Been on hold over thirty minutes and that's after calling the # on the check and listening to a recording that endlessly repeats. Frustrating. By the way Michael Johnson, any legal document that is copied will show "void" if copied, that's how you know it is a real document and not a copy.

Don't know where you live but in most states if you leave a company where is was voluntary or involuntary you are to receive your final paycheck as you go out the door. Check with your states unemployment office. He most likely can go into the store and demand that they pay him on the spot in cash if necessary.
