Need Help Knowing How Profs and Instructors Communicate with One Another?

Profs still lecture on blackboards, whiteboards, or just talk. But to what extent do profs use campus email to send materials and messages to students and have students send submissions and questions back? To what extent do profs use campus web sites for the same.

Is this about faculty communicating with students, or about professors and instructors (two types of faculty) communicating with one another?

Those are two different questions. Be absolutely clear about what you mean.

All faculty, of whatever type, use email to communicate with students, but ONLY if necessary, in special outside-of-class circumstances. Students and teachers see each other in class and in office hours. Why are YOU so hung up on email? That's not how assignments and so forth are given at a normal college/university.
