Do you consider your boyfriend/ girlfriend your best friend?

If you're in a relationship with someone, do you think of them also as your best friend, besides the physical attraction? I mean I still have my old best friend as close to me as ever, but I feel I can find as much common ground and things to talk about with my boyfriend as well? Will a relationship even work if people won't consider their significant other their best friend?

Yes. I've heard from countless people that the most important thing to look for in a spouse (so, yeah bf, gf too) is for them to be your best friend. I'm sure it works for people who dont consider their significant other their best friend but it's very important to most people I talk to.

Yes. My boyfriend is my bestfriend too, i dont know why but i feel comfortable talking all my problems to him than anybody else. His advice is usually the best and he's there for me.

I honestly already have a best friend but if I did date someone then they would automatically be my best friend
