If all the planes suddenly disappeared how would we travel instead?

Boats aren't fast enough, trains can't travel around the world. What if you needed to be in a certain city across the entire US tomorrow for a meeting. What would we do? If planes suddenly disappeared and no one could make them again (Just go with it), or say planes never even existed, what would the world be like how would we be functioning?

Update:

Lets just say they do disappear and we can't get them back, I know they won't but lets just pretend here.

It would not affect my life one bit. Some of us fly on planes maybe once every 5-10 years.

The world existed for zillions of years without planes. They are not necessary for life! :)
