Does anyone else find this odd?

The Other day, my family and I looked at a house. We removed our shoes (not uncommon at open houses). I was barefoot as I had worn sandals, and everyone else wore socks. The realtor kept asking me "Oksana, how does that floor feel?" and "Oksana, how does that carpet feel?" Later, I asked the realtor why she kept asking me that. She said that because I was the only one with bare feet (no socks), I could feel the floors/carpets better and that opinion was important because of that. Does anyone find this odd?

I don't find it odd. One of the best sensations at home is feeling a pleasurable texture beneath your feet. I like rough carpets and real gritty tile. Your feet are in shoes all day at work/ school etc, so your feet should enjoy your home.

The Realtor was trying to make sale and was using you as tool to bridge between themselves and your family.
