How important are initials? Is COW too offensive?

I don't really consider initials important, but some people do. In my opinion, full initials are very rarely used so what's the big deal? My partner, however, thinks that initials are important - one of my favourite boys names is Oliver Laurence D___; my partner conveniently pointed out that the initials spell OLD. If it really bothers you, choose another name.

No it really doesn't matter. Cows are awesome. I love cows. A cow was the symbol of the Greek Goddess Hera. It's not like her initials are a-s-s or something. I absolutely love the name Carissa Odell. Please don't change it! It's really beautiful. Just make sure she stays healthy and fit. Cows are adorable, how is it offensive? Carissa Odell the prettiest name I've heard all day.

Yeah, COW would not be a great idea. Cow means fat and u don't want her to be called that. How about Karissa instead of Carissa Odell ;). Sure it's still KOW but it's not associated with an insult. It's like naming your son Peter Otto Oliver.

No one will pay attention to her initials. Dont be ridiculous. You are not supposed to think for her. If she get too fat, she can go on a diet. COW would be appropriate. Or maybe NUT

Yeah I think during school she could be made fun of a lot for it, especially if she's overweight whatsoever. It's up to you, if you raise her to not care what others think then I think she'll be fine.

Well personally I love cows but yes. She will be teased and may be forced into an untouchable bubble where self harming suicide and running away surround her...

I wouldn't worry about it too much unless kids guess her middle name. I don't really think it is that offensive either.
