Catholics don't believe there is a rapture that was a Protestant invention. Rather Catholics believe there are two resurrections the resurrection of the righteous which takes place either immediately or sometime after the Particular Judgement in which the spirit rises into Heaven were the saint will be joined with Jesus and the other saints this is the multitude of thousands. And the resurrection of the dead which takes place on the last day after the world ends all the dead both the righteous (living) and unrighteous (dead) will be risen in this world in their bodies in the likeness of our Lord's resurrected body and our Lord will judge all the nations this is the Last Judgement.

There is no rapture dear one, that is a theory invented by a mad woman from the scriptures in the 1800's, she was also mentally ill, why not google her and how the rapture theory came about. It is a deception, find the word rapture no where in scripture.

The rapture is an heresy concocted in the USA in the 1830s and is not believed in by the vast majority of Christians around the world. It could be argued that believers in the rapture are not Christian.

Like the Orthodox, Anglicans, and most Protestants, Catholics don't believe in a Rapture. However, if there actually is one, of course they will be.

No, being that there is no such thing, at least as taught by modern dispensationalists.

When Christ returns in glory, it will be to establish his kingdom on this earth that will never end, and to judge the living and the dead. This has been clear Christian doctrine from the 4th century, recorded in the Nicene Creed. Until the 19th century, *no one* believed that Christians would be whisked off to heaven in the 2nd coming, to await a 3rd coming with Jesus.

When Christ comes again, it will be for the last time. We will meet him in the air -- like ancient delegations used to meet visiting dignitaries outside the city -- and accompany him to earth.

    Forgive me.

The way anyone participates in the Rapture (see defense of the word below) is that they are alive when Jesus returns to take His church. His church consists of those that have placed their faith and trust in Him. If a Catholic person has placed his or her faith in Jesus, then that person would be raptured. But Catholic teaching is not about placing faith and trust in Jesus, it is about placing faith and trust in the teachings of the Catholic church.

The word "rapture" is borrowed from the Latin Vulgate that uses "rapturus" (from rapiemur, meaning "drag off", "snatch", "seize", "carry off") for the Greek Word "caught up" (harpagesometha, meaning "seize", "snatch up" suddenly). The Vulgate is the Latin translation made in 382 AD by Jerome from the original Greek and Hebrew texts. The place where the Greek word harpagesometha is used is 1 Thessalonians 4:16,17:

"For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be CAUGHT UP [harpagesometha, rapiermur, rapture] together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever."

Q.E.D. - Rapture is in the Bible.

The rapture is not from the bible. As far as whether or not Catholics will be allowed into the lord's presence is not for you to decide. It is not for any christian, jew, muslim, buddhist, hindu, jain, sikh, bahai or any human to say or even guess as to who is entering into paradise and who is destined for other destinations.

the Rapture is an 1800's invention. Satan inspired his christian teachers to come up with it.

It shall depend on each person! The Bible teaches that to get to Heaven WE have to have Zero Hate in us!

If a Catholic dies full of hate,, even for just one person - then to Hell. Same with a Protestant!

Watch "The Lazarus Phenomenon" and see what millions have seen after they died, were confirmed dead by a doctor, ... then came back to Life! There is also "The Search For Heaven".
