How do you know Bernie Sanders isn't lying about having duel Israel-U.S. citizenship?

He says he has visited Israel on *multiple occasions*. MULTIPLE OCCASIONS. He probably applied for Israeli citizenship. He's Jewish for ***** sake. Do you guys trust everything Bernard Sanders says? If you do then I feel bad for you. If he becomes president, how do you know he won't take back everything he's said like Obama? It always happens but nobody seems to notice. I'm not antisemitic. I just hate lying ***** that leave Palestine to **** and love Israel because it's the only way the U.S. can get into the Middle East. I hate zionists. There's a difference.

How do you know that Obama doesn't have Kenyan citizenship?

Honestly, we can't, but questions such as these are about as valid as asking how we can know that Bill Clinton doesn't have British citizenship. If he's anything like the majority of American Jews, he just has American citizenship. True, theoretically he could easily obtain Israeli citizenship....but then so can anyone of British, German, Japanese, and various other backgrounds obtain foreign ones too. Bernie being Jewish is not a good justification for assuming this, since they still have to apply to be dual citizens and there is zero evidence that he's even tried. In the end, you still need that evidence to denounce him like that, and chances are you won't be able to. Since, you know, he hasn't. The practice of questioning Jews by alleging they have citizenship elsewhere just because they're Jewish comes off rather hatefully, and it's insulting given how most US Jews are very proud Americans.

He's a politician, so I don't trust everything he says. Not because he's Jewish, but a politician: It could be a black, young Muslim woman aligned with the Republicans saying the exact same things and I'd still hold my breath because I believe they all lie. No matter what age, party, gender, ethnicity, religion, or various other criteria are, I always have to wait and see before I invest more trust in anyone. I'm not the happiest person to talk to about politics, I know. Still, he does seem to stand much more behind his words that most, so I'm at least willing to bet that his words can be taken at face value a bit more. I agree that no one (or rather, few people) notices when words are taken back, so don't read too much into that.

You know, going to Israel on occasions isn't the eye-raiser that you'd think. Given what we know about it, there is nothing to suggest that he's nefariously against the United States. Perhaps he's become really friendly with people he met there - international friendships happen - or just likes certain aspects of the nation while still being loyal to his own. I've been to Israel many times; however, if you begin to doubt my loyalty as an American you'd get weird stares or laughs by people who know me. I'd throw expletives in your face if you really pushed it. I'm a very, very proud American so I would be very insulted.

You know, saying "He's Jewish for ***** sake" and then asserting that "I'm not antisemitic" does little to convince people that you aren't. Your words are implying that Jews can't be trusted, which most Americans would find to be rather disgusting rhetoric. I'l also say that it seems like you are functioning under a very, very, VERY wrong assumption of what Zionism is. At least, a definition that fails to capture what most Zionists believe.

The funny thing is that I'm not planning on voting for Bernie Sanders. Or, at least, hoping not too, since I'll vote for the lesser of two evils and so far, there are other possibilities that are more so than him. But every election has been "vote for the lesser of two evils" for me anyway. It's still rather screwy to target him like this, though.

We have to assume he is lying until proven otherwise.

I listened to that interview with him and he seemed very evasive bordering on subterfugenous.

He actually lived in the entity on a kibbutz (Yiddish for stolen-land). I was going to say worked but that might be stretching is.

    ***** **** ** ******* as I always say.
