    Edmonton. Washington made some big gains too

    Toronto. Most teams made superficial changes. Sort of like shifting the deck chairs on the Titanic. Toronto changed the entire ship and is looking for a new sea route.

    The Capitals have definitely improved their club, interesting to see if it will pull them out of mediocrity. That's my vote; but I like what Columbus, Edmonton, and Calgary have done as well
