Has anyone heard of a virus called: adds by add remover?
I find this so ironic and completely inane.
The usual places I look, no where to be found and not in my system.
Slows things up and get stupid adverts.
Using windows 10 now, but had it in 7
Tried searching for it online, but can't find it

It's most likely a "Browser helper" [BHO]..
Things like that are classed as adware rather than viruses and different programs are needed to remove them.
Get ccleaner and look through the "startup" section, checking in all the tabs for both Windows and each browser you use.
Also try Malwarebytes and Superantispyware, if that does not work.
