how to clean a new cartilage piercing properly with a q-tip and saline solution?
I got my cartilage pierced yesterday and bought saline solution to clean it as recommended by all piercing sites, I cleaned it yesterday and today twice but the problem is I dunno if it's the proper way because I can't get the q-tip inside the hole through the barbell earrings and I'm afraid to rotate or twist it. So what's the proper way to avoid infection?
Also, it doesn't hurt me today nor yesterday so will it hurt later??

No q-tips - they can leave tiny cotton fibers on your piercing that can irritate it. You don't want to rotate or twist the jewelry.
Spray your piercing with a sterile saline wound wash aftercare twice a day. This will gently irrigate the wound of bacteria. Let your body do the rest.

You don't need to get the q-tip in the hole, just make sure it gets saline drizzled over it.
