My best guess would be the coolant temp sensor. I say that because the computer will send more fuel for starting a cold engine then it will when it is warmed up. The other thing that might make a difference is the fuel pressure regulator. The regulator shuts off when there is no vacuum which allows the fuel pump to pressurize the fuel system to it's full pressure which will also add more fuel for starting. I'm not sure if heat would make it act differently or not though. You would have a engine light if it were any other sensor on the engine.
