Cycling with Fish?
Right now I have a ~55 gallon fish tank, and I have 6 zebra danios in them. Prior to adding these fish, I just some "bactercia in a bottle" (API brand), and also took a filter cartridge out of another (smaller) tank I have and placed it in this tank (it's in the filter, with the regular filter cartridge).
Today I did a water change of ~10 gallons, but want to know if I should be doing anything else, or if I'll be alright.
I can't use gravel from the other tank, because the big tank has sand substrate.

, You have to get water tests for ammonia, nitrate and nitrite.
Do a 30% water change anytime ammonia is over 25 ppm. Add prime to all new water. Change the water at least 25% 3 times a week until the tank is finished cycling. And you have zero ammonia and nitrates are close to 20 or under, but not over 20 ppm.

What @noselessman said. If you don't overfeed, or overclean the filter, in 4-6 weeks the tank should be healthy.
