Ford and nissan tucks any good/ reliable frontier titan f150?

I'm looking to buy a used truck years 2006-2011. I want a reliable not in the shop all of the time truck and will provide proper maitenance. I would like to get feedback on brands. I've narrowed it down to a Nissan Titan or frontier and Ford F-150 are nissan and ford trucks reliable long lasting trucks if taken care of? Or should I look at Chevys or other brand?

Feedback is appreciated and no I am not interested in a dodge or toyota thanks

I worked for a nissan dealership when nissan introduced the titan. I attended what is called a product launch where I went to a learn about the truck and compare it to the ford. The product launch was run by an outside company that allowed unbiased presentations. The nissan was better in most of the categories. And in terms of reliability, nissan will beat chev, ford or dodge. I think ford has sold more f150's (1/2 ton) sized trucks than anyone else because it was the best truck available. Toyota's new full sized truck is cheaply built and is probably going to drag down Toyota's good name. The reason the asian vehicles are built better than the domestics is they have a superior quality control agenda during the manufacturing process. The domestic vehicles are not so good because the man that came up with the system, an american, presented his plan to all the domestic manufacturers and all three of them turned him away because they thought the emphasis on quality control was too expensive. Look where it got them, bummer, huh?
