How to cap (limit) my mbps.?
My computer has troubles with staying connected to internet no matter where i go, or how i connect. It seems to have nothing to do with my drivers.
I have a theory. Is there a program that i can use to easily limit my MBPS? regardless of the routers capacity?
To be more specific, I want to use less incoming MBPS. on any internet source.. mine, someone else's, wifi, wired ect. I just need a program that can limit how much all programs on my computer use the internet. and NO it can't be done with router settings, because I can't access other peoples routers obviously.
I won't bother explaining why, it's complicated.

lower your MTU from the default 1500 to like 100 and then you will send less bits per second...
If you want to go half just change your MTU to 750
