I noticed my laptop's keyboard has a function key for backlight. However, the keyboard clearly doesn't have backlight functionality, nor can I find any sort of replacement, or upgrade. Is it even possible to fit a backlit keyboard in my computer?

I'm buying a new element off the internet, and as a person that likes to double check everything obsessively, I'm just curious as to whether installing the wrong element will simply cause the oven to not work properly, or if I should expect to see sparks flying as soon as I turn that dial.

I have VB 2005 Express Edition, and I am looking for Visual Basic code that will allow me to:

1. Monitor incoming messages from a specific contact in Skype

2. Retrieve those messages.

3. Be able to send messages.

I've been using YTD for a long time, but now it's attacking my computer. Probably something to do with the ads their putting in the program now.

We got this truck 10 months ago, and I don't think anyone has done anything with the fluids since we got it,

I checked the fluids today after driving about 20 miles and back.

Trans fluid, and Oil dipsticks were completely covered, but the engine was hot so i didn't think much of it. but after 4 hours i checked again and it was the same thing.

Don't know much about engines but for the record, yes i did wipe the sticks first, and yes I was on flat terrain.

After 10 months Are they too full? or could there be another problem?

when I turn the key, I get a rapid clicking noise, and the indicator lights on the dash flicker. Glow plugs also sound like their barely getting enough juice. No crank at all.

I hooked up my 100w solar panel with a automatic12/24 volt charge controller, which said batteries had a good charge. Went ahead and charged them fully, followed by cleaning the post, and battery connections of corrosion.

Result was the same, won t start.

Any ideas what could be wrong?

No matter where I go, any library, public place, or friends home, My internet constantly disconnects.

When I lose internet, the network says "Limited Connectivity" and after maybe about 10 seconds or more, it's back, or it may not come back, or the Wifi driver shuts down completely and i cant get it back without restarting the whole PC (after a forced shutdown.) Very rarely will it give me a few minutes without interruptions.

I do not think it's the driver or the card, because I had the same issues with a wired connection tho not as bad, and that's two completely different pieces of hardware. Windows doesn't want to update them because they are already the "latest."

I noticed the less internet speed I have, The worse it is. I would do a complete OS reinstall, but I don't have the disk... I've messed with settings, turned off the hamachi network. Nothing's working...

My computer has troubles with staying connected to internet no matter where i go, or how i connect. It seems to have nothing to do with my drivers.

I have a theory. Is there a program that i can use to easily limit my MBPS? regardless of the routers capacity?

I run vista, and according to other websites my option should be there in my sound setting. But it s not there. No "listen tab" no microphone volume bar for my speakers or anything.

My Visual Basic knowledge is little, I need the following to happen:

at the tick of "Timer1" check if "textbox1" first line of text is empty (no spaces or anything)

If it IS NOT empty, do nothing.

if it IS empty then "textbox2" will add a line (like hitting enter) that line will be selected for new text, and the first line in "textbox1" will be removed bringing up the second line to first.

Can anyone tell me where the driver, and software for this card is? Or something that works with it.

Computer works fine for a while but then the internet gets lost, only way to seem to get it back is to reboot. it did this with both the Ethernet, and USB connection. another computer is connected (Dimension 4700 windows XP SP3) and it keeps the connection just fine.

Am I missing proper driver software? because I'm sure the working one has the same version of drivers the 4700 has, or does it have to do with needing a newer version of networking programs like NET.Framework?

The modem works fine with all other computers it's been connected to, and please don't tell me to get new computers. I am aware they are old.

I have a 250GB hard drive on a netbook I'm selling but Windows says it only has 128GB, and does not show other hard drive partitions

Can someone confirm why this is? is windows 7 starter only supporting the 128gb?

Is the Factory Default taking all that extra space?

Or is there another partition somewhere that windows isn't showing?

Planning on selling, Tested Factory default restore and it came up, and i got out of it, however after cleaning it up the FDR isn't working right and says when i press alt+f10:

Tried enter, windows boots up as normal. It the FDR ruined? can i fix this?

I did the following to clean it:

Used ccleaner to clean files, and wipe empty space

went into APPDATA folder in the users folder and deleted several files

use disk cleaner to clean system files.

uninstalled unnecessary programs.

I restored as far back as i could with system restore and landed in the middle of the programs i was uninstalling. Windows boots fine, so what happened?

If I please could get answers from someone who has a good grasp on what may have happened, and not just guesses, that would be great.

I have the following happening:

Timer1 is set to at every interval, to use code:

richtextbox.loadfile (file path)

so the rich text box in my program constantly refreshes to say what the file in the path contains, however, for some periods the folder the file is in becomes unavailable for a short moment (due to another program using the folder) and of course this causes the Unhandeled Exception "File Not Found" error to appear.

How do I code the program so when this exception occurs it'll do something for example: textbox1.text = "text here"

PLEASE READ: I want to be very spisfic on this, so to make sure I get the right answers.

I want a program that connects a computer to a folder located on another computer over the internet in real time. Allowing instant Read and Write access to that folder. I also want the program treat the folder as a virtual drive on the computer looking at the folder. Reason why....

I want to make two visual basic programs (one on each computer) that interact with each other by using the richtextbox loadfile and savefile commands into the shared folder so I can make a virtual network between the two.

My friends computer is windows 7
