Ipod 5th gen died and will not charge?
I've had my ipod for a few months and at some point it stopped charging, i heard a reboot could correct it but since I didn't know I let die thinking it was a kinda final send off but i was wondering how i can fix this, i tried different cables, wall charger things, sockets, and computer and nothing.

I agree it is probably the battery unless you got the ipod wet. But if your patient, you can change it yourself. The part itself is very cheap, I'd say go for it. https://www.gadgetmenders.com/replacement-battery-...

sounds like the battery is blown. not really much you can do on your own, you want to get it repaired at a shop or if its still in warrantee contact apple. as you can see by this video, it isn't easy!
