My mac is running slow like molasses?
My mac laptop seems like it s been getting slower. I can t have more than 3 or 4 tabs open on a browser at a time, or I ll get the pinwheel spinning for 30 seconds or more. What can I do to make speed it up? I ve already upgraded the memory to maximum capacity.

And all the Mac people brag about how stable the Mac is. Hah!
Just joking, anyhow you should monitor the CPU and memory usage using the Activity Monitor. Or using istatpro for dashboard. See if some program causing trouble.
Otherwise I'd recommend backup your data to icloud or external media and then do a system restore to make the PC as it was when new.

Definitely need more ram but i'd try wiping the memory that makes computers seem like brand new but as a computer user i know macs aren't the best computers..

Save all your dat+aon to an external hard drive or memory stick. Or save it by using time machine and do a factory reset, it always does the trick. Look on the apple website https://support.apple.com/kb/PH18869?locale=en_US
