My friend has no reason to lie, however they told me their natural hair color is pink.?

I met someone online, I consider us very good friends. I believe I know a lot about them and I do not think they have any reason to lie to me what so ever. However they asked me what my natural hair color was, and I replied with "Black, I've never dyed it.".

However then they said that their natural hair color is pink and asked if I found it weird. I said "No, it's not weird, I am sure it is beautiful.". However I am a 17 year old guy and wasn't the best in my science class. Is there even the smallest possibility that you could have pink hair? Maybe not the sort of color you dye, maybe some sort of natural pale pink? I really don't think they would lie to me and this is a friend I consider quite close to me.

Update:

Is it really so far fetched? It's really impossible?

The only way her hair is remotely close to "pink" is if she is strawberry blonde. But the color isn't actually pink, ya know?
