What are some of the NON-religious arguments some people have against same-sex marriage?

Though the majority of people are, not everyone who is against homosexuality and SSM is religious. In the sea of religious arguments about it, it's hard to pick out and really explore the ones that aren't.

Update:

I don't recall stating my personal opinion in my question, so the defensive posturing was really unnecessary. I didn't ask for "valid" arguments...I simply was curious what non-religious opinions people have been approached with in this subject.

Update 2:

I've been informed the wording of my question may have led people to believe I am a troll. My apologies if it sounded that way, it certainly wasn't my intent. I actually wanted REAL answers.

For the record, I have an aunt, sister and niece that are gay, and I am bisexual myself.

People can be so afraid of change which is just stupid. The world changes everyday. People born, people die, new things legalized, new things illegalized. The list is endless.

Those narrow minded people against same sex marriage need to take their head out the their *ss and open their eyes to the fact that people are entitled to have preferences and that they are in no position to critique other people's sexuality and/or lifestyle. If someone's gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgender that's their choice and nobody else has the RIGHT to judge them on that. It just means they have a preference.Just like I have a preference on ice cream.I personally like vanilla but that doesn't mean that I'm expecting everyone else to follow my opinion and love vanilla too. The same way no one should be expecting me to love strawberry when I like vanilla. How idiotic does that sound? It's all about preference.Nobody should be judged or discriminated against because they are different. This coming from a 13 yr old.

If you disagree, go watch Jon Oliver's youtube videos on LGBT and Transgender people...

85% of America accepts LGBT and gender identity different people...if you can't, that's YOUR problem !

The world is changing...accept others as they are or you'll be left behind...

Their arguments are equally invalid. If you personally find homosexuality distateful, don't fûck someone of the same sex. Same with marriage. No one's forcing anyone to do something they don't want to do here.

We do not understand human behavior, certainly not sexual behavior.

I really don't think we have that much choice in this matter.

There aren't any, if you watch the news.
