Jeep Wrangler or Toyota Tacoma? Which is better pros cons etc?
Which is s better daily driver and for winter snow? More reliable and can last a long time
I narrowed it down to a Jeep Wrangler 2 or 4 door or a double cab Toyota Tacoma in v6 and 4x4
I like the idea of a bed when or if I'd need it but won't really be towing with either one and I don't like cars so no I am not interested in small economy cars
I had an 03 jeep and loved it I miss it but also looking at safety and reliability as it would be a daily driver to work etc. I like the option of a bed when Id need it but love wranglers as well. Opinions pros cons etc in these 2 vehicles is appreciated. I don't want a full size truck just a jeep or tacoma
Thanks. Looking at not being in the shop a lot so reliability is important and safety for passengers

+ 1 to Tacoma. Since the beginning it has been a mainstay of the compact and midsize pickup segments. Its advantages include a variety of body styles to choose from, useful off-road abilities, strong resale value and a better than average reputation for reliability. It is a smooth performer, and each trim level has the ability to venture off the beaten path a little bit or pound some pavement on the highway. Super-roomy interior comfort within the cab (and there are several sizes offered) are one of the key points that have made this model so successful.

Well, you gave virtually no valid reason for buying a Jeep other than some love of owning one in the past. On the flipside, you actually have a useful need for a pickup (even though it's not likely an everyday need). The choice seems obvious to me.
As for winter driving, assuming you have the proper winter tires, I'd rather be in a pickup over an SUV.

Actually the Toyota Tacoma has better reliability statistics but either one should perform well in the snow.

Tacoma. TACOMA. Don't even think about the Jeep. Tacomas are safer, FAR more reliable, and can go basically anywhere a Jeep can.
