What kind of God would just watch as Christians were being fed to Lions, and Jews being baked in ovens?
There must be an explanation for such a no-show job costing the lives of hundreds of millions over that past 2,000 years, right? So, let's hear it!

1.-Hmmmm. He said that they would suffer and even die for his name. Then they would go to heaven. The people who would do this might be punished on earth for this crime. If not, they usually would end up in hell.
2.-God is not ignoring Christians being fed to lions. The reason why they are suffering is because we are in a world of sin.
3.-Some people are allowed to die if their deaths can save more people or their time on earth has passed (my guess). Sometimes their deaths can wake up someone or turn their hearts to God. Some people are saved if they can save more people of if they are still needed on earth. If you look in the Bible, you can see this pattern.
4.-Not all Christians are following God. Some have turned their backs on him. Part of the reason that evil person rose up could possibly be because we (some of us) have turned our backs on God. God allows certain things to happen to wake us up.
5.-Some of the people claiming they are Christians really aren't. Saying you're a Christian does not make you a Christian. If you follow the rules, ideals, values, morals and foundational beliefs found in the Bible, have accepted Jesus as Savior and love God then you're a Christian. God might make exceptions for those who have never heard the Gospel (likely they have a different way to get to heaven) and babies...but that's it.
6.-The Jews were not all following God. You're forgetting that God judges the world for what he considers sin...even if we disagree. Sometimes he will even allow an evil person to do this. After that is done, he will then punish that person as well. Notice that I said "allow" and not that he sent that person. If we were following him, then he would protect us or destroy that person immediately.
7.-Everyone has a time to die.
8.-Even Christians can make mistakes or do wrong things. If we decide not to stand up against wrong things, our lack of action can lead to the rise of an evil person or situations that we can't get out of. There is a reason behind every evil person or situation that we encounter. What we're doing is assuming that because we appear to be moral or good that God is always going to stand there and protect us. He never said that.

We are mortal by intention, because this life is temporary, as place to grow, or fail, spiritually.
We all will die. In all sorts of ways potentially.
The young and innocent simply get into heaven. Those of us past the age of innocence have a chance to mature further and we have more responsibility of course.
Actual responsibility. Which requires actual reality. Actual consequences. Real experience.
Not fake experience inside a fake world. But the real thing.
For those who come to God, death is only a transition.

You have eight answers from people most of whom fall into the category - "They have a zeal for God but not according to accurate knowledge." Romans 10:2. All of their answers are incorrect because they do not have the truth.
There is another bible quote you need - "This means their salvation, their coming to know you, the only true God and the one you sent forth, Jesus Christ." John 17:3.
Do you see anything there about being baptized? Or going to church? Or donating money? No.It says quite clearly that it is knowledge that will save you.
This is the reason we offer free bible studies. To help you gain everlasting life. Not everyone is smart enough to take advantage of this offer. Best wishes.

Uh......wow. Let's hear His reasons for killig people that will just go to be with Him in eternal peace and happiness???
This life is temporary. God has given us, through Buddha, Moses, Jesus, etc, the way to live our life in peace and happiness. Don't kill, don't covet, don't steal, love each other even your enemies, worship Him. We either decide to follow Him or we don't. We see the results in the world by not following Hun, Stealing, killing, hating, envy.
We choose what kind of world we live in. God has given us the Laws to be happy, we choose not to follow them. This is the result.
It's like a parent teachig their teen how to drive. Go out every week practicing. The teen gets his license, goes 90 down the freeeway. Is that the parent's fault? No. The teen is choosing how to drive.

John 15:20 Keep in mind the word I said to you: A slave is not greater than his master. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have observed my word, they will also observe yours.
(Matthew 5:11) “Happy are you when people reproach you and persecute you and lyingly say every sort of wicked thing against you for my sake.
(Matthew 10:22) And you will be hated by all people on account of my name, but the one who has endured to the end will be saved.
(Matthew 24:9) “Then people will hand you over to tribulation and will kill you, and you will be hated by all the nations on account of my name.
(2 Timothy 3:12) In fact, all those desiring to live with godly devotion in association with Christ Jesus will also be persecuted.
(1 Peter 2:21) In fact, to this course you were called, because even Christ suffered for you, leaving a model for you to follow his steps closely.

1. You don't have any ground to stand on when you believe you have the right to judge God.
2. Why do you think that God just stood by?

I would hate to meet God if I were responsible for Christian or Jewish deaths. God judges and we all go through it.

One who suffered on the cross. One who grants free will even when some choose to be cruel to others.

The laws are set and this is a war, not a playground where we have a referee who keeps us all happy and safe.

Either we have responsibility for loving our neighbors as ourselves or God does but not both. Do you want to be relieved of your responsibility?
