If a coworker is diagnosed with scabies, is my employer responsible for providing the necessary treatment to the other coworkers?

    Sounds like you got too close to a coworker:

    Scabies mites camera.gif spread from person to person by close contact, such as sleeping in the same bed or touching someone's skin. The mites can also be spread by sharing towels, clothing, and other personal items.

    What "necessary treatment"? The only real risk you have of contracting scabies from a coworker is if you are HAVING SEX with them....

    WHY the employer? Don't you have health insurance so you go to the doc and get some meds and treat it yourself? IF no insurance why not Obama is giving it away.

    Why? It was proven long ago they aren't contagious unless you are a child of 8 who believes in cooties.
