Can I delay my period with a partial pack of birth control pills?
I am going on vacation in 2 weeks and am due for my period. My friend gave me a nearly full pack of birth control in hopes it will delay my period. Will this work even though I will only be on it for less than a full cycle?

No- it doesn't work like that
you either have to be taking them regularly or your doctor gives you the Kind of pill >For> delaying like for a trip.
