How is the correct way? Italy is a beautiful country and "it" or "he" is in Europe.?
Thanks. You helped me a lot.
How I never did questions before only now twice. I don't know how to score the best answer. Although many deserve whom I thank, I can only give to one.
I've found how to score.

"It" is correct in English. Countries are gender neutral in English, except in very rare circumstances, usually in context of nationalistic sayings, when the country is being referred to almost as a person. For example. Canada won the championship and is the best in the world. Long may she reign!

"It" Italy is an inanimate object. In English only a few objects get a gender identifying pronoun. Ships are generally called "her" or "she" and some people may identify a car as a she, but that's about it.
