Has anyone had a raccoon removal service?

Update:

My tenant described that there were some kind of raccoon size animals with a long tail in the house. She called Orkin and got an estimate of $179 for the initial cost and then $75 each month to maintain. I called Rid-A-Critter today for an estimate of $800 upto $1400 to seal the house, treat, remove the animals and repair. Why is there a big discrepancy in price? Usually, how much is the cost for the removal and repair?
