  • What Could be the Causes for Rabbit's Death?

At 10:30 AM, a cat was about to get a rabbit on the lawn, while my husband chased the cat away. However, the cat must have attacked the wild rabbit before we saw the cat's continuous action. My husband took his white shirt off to cover the rabbit, so it wouldn't run while he brought it to the garage to check if the rabbit got hurt. The white shirt got blood stain, so we knew that the rabbit was bleeding. It seemed that the rabbit only got one 1/4 to 1/2" wound on its chest. It did not look serious and no blood came out. I put peroxide to disinfect the wound and the ointment for cut wounds.

We put the rabbit in a deep box with water, celery, and lettuce. We planned to keep it and check the wound, and release it to the wild once the wound starts to heal. The last time we saw it alive was about 10 PM. It did not touch the vegetables yet due to its trauma I guess.

This morning, we saw it laying its side-way dead. No blood was found. It did eat some parts of the vegetables. I don't understand why it died. If it was able to move and hopped around and ate, the wound was not serious at all... Why... Did we do something wrong??? It's only one night...

  • Report FUTA for Father of Sole Proprietor or Not?

In my state, father, mother, spouse, and children of a proprietor are exempt from SUTA. The publication 15 circle E states only spouse and children are exempt from FUTA. However, there are a lot of other small articles and publications out there always popping up some extra information other than the main publications do. I am just curious about the difference between the criteria the Federal and State set. If there is no other added/extra information available, does it mean that I just report the full FUTA rate for my father and disregard SUTA?

    Thanks

  • apply same construction loan with different banks?

    1. I heard that it is a good idea to apply the same loan with different banks in order to see which bank offers the most suitable loan for an individual, because lenders do not give details or enough info upfront before one applies a loan. Can an applicant really do that? If so, what are the cons of applying a loan with different banks?

    2. Every house related loan requires an appraiser to ensure the value of the property not below what's pay for. I understand why banks do it, and it does not conflict much with pre-existing homes. However, for a brand new construction that one hires a builder to build the home almost always much more expensive than the preexisting homes. That means, in today's market, that the appraised value of the house-to-build and the property would be much lower than what the construction costs. In this case, it is impossible to get a construction loan now, am I right?

  • how long do the credit bureaus update record?

How and how long do the credit bureaus update one's credit records? Let say's: a person got 5 points taken off from his credit score now for being checked by several lenders, 10 points taken again in 2 months. Are 5 add up by 10 points, and then the credit score just stay that for a while or the credit score refresh itself at some point? If it stays, for how long? If the credit score refreshes itself, how often does it do it?

Is one's credit score kept lowering down one after another credit check? If so, for how long?

    Thanks

  • are architects responsible for anything wrong?

If an architect is hired for designing a house for you, is he/she legally responsible to pay for any damage to the house due to his/her wrongly or imperfect design?

How about a landscape architect? If he/she designs to plant trees only 6 feet away from the house, which is supposed to be 20 feet away from a house, or wrongly calculate the wind breaks for the trees and etc... Is he/she responsible for less efficient or effective landscape design?

    Thanks

  • buying possibly wetland, waterfowl land, and the like?

I am looking for a land I can buy to build a house. there is one land for sale considerably cheap. The land from most of the pictures shown looks like either a swamp or shallow watery land. I checked the county flood map; the entire land is indeed in the flood coverage area. 2 questions:

    1. Is this wetland buildable? if it is, is it involves more money, time, and energy to make it happen?

    2. Any water related areas shows up in the flood map. A lake behind a house would show up in the flood map too. does that mean that all of the lake front or lake back around houses are prone to flood?

    Thanks

  • Can I add acrylic paint to an acrylic painting that was treated with mineral spirits?

I have an acrylic painting that was cleaned with mineral spirits. Now I would like to add some acrylic paint on the painting. Would the added paint flake off through time?

Also, I was told to use acrylic varnish rather than regular varnish for acrylic paintings in general, because some ingredients in the regular varnish would take acrylic paint off. In my case, can I still use acrylic varnish?

  • GA Real Estate Law & Homeowner Association Issue?

Anybody familiar with GA real estate laws? I signed the agreement to pay for homeowner association fee monthly at the attorney's office for the closing. The policy copy I have states that the fee includes grass cutting every other week in summer and yard maintenance.

I wrote the homeowner association several times to complain about my grass was not cut, while others were. The homeowner association has never responded to my letters. I wrote them a letter this time stating "I would stop paying the fee starting the following month, if my grass is not cut within the next 3 weeks."

This letter was sent out about10 days ago. So far my grass has not been cut; I have not received any responses either. I am just wondering:

Is it legal to stop paying the homeowner association fee, when my letters were ignored and the homeowner association has not fulfill their duty on my property?

    Thanks

  • Unicode problem with music notation?

I learned the QUARTER note in music can be shown in Microsoft Word by typing 2669 and then Alt with x together. I also learned:

    266F Alt + X =MUSIC SHARP SIGN

    266D Alt + X =MUSIC FLAT SIGN

    266E Alt + X =MUSIC NATURAL SIGN

These 266F and 2669 are called hex. Since I need to use more music notation in Microsoft Word, I google some charts to see what hex codes I can use to produce the musical notation I want. Most likely it was my ignorance or lack of knowledge of using it, but I don't fine the unicode system is "consistent"

I was trying to find musical notations for a QUARTER REST and HALF REST on the charts. Some charts have both Hexdecimal and Hex. 1D13D is the HEX for a QUARTER REST, while 11911 (don't remember exactly the number but only the format) is the Hexdecimal. I searched many pages of how to use unicode online, even from Microsoft. The instruction from all of them says "type the hex and then Alt with X together." However, when I typed the hex 1D13D then Alt with X, it gave me somethings else. I also tried the hexdecimal code with Alt and X afterwards, it did not work.

How can I make Quarter REST, HALF REST, WHOLE REST, HALF NOTE, and WHOLE NOTE in MICROSOFT WORD.....?

    Thanks
