Best jobs in the Navy?
I recently decided to switch from the Air Force to the US Navy, I already took the asvab while I was in AF DEP. I went and talked to the recruiter this morning and based on my scores he printed out a page with all the jobs I qualify for. I was in college for radiology but it didnt work out financially, but Ive wanted to be in the medical field since i was a freshman in high school so being able to become a Hospital Corpsman would be great. It's overmanned but he said he could pull a few strings to possibly get me in. I'm not getting my hopes up so I wouldn't mind considering other jobs I qualify for, I'd like for yall to tell me, out of these jobs I listed, which ones are equally as good jobs. If you have had any of these jobs, I'd love to hear about your experiences with them. My dad is prior Navy and helped me choose a few good ones, which I have taken some interest in and have marked them with a asterisk. Thanks!

If you ask me, the best job in the Navy is Fire Controlman (FC). You get good training on electronics (digital and analong), and you get to BLOW SH!T UP! When it's time to shoot the guns on the ship, it's the FC that shoots them. Time to fire the missile, it's the FC again that does.
But that's the best job for me,. What is the best job for you all depends on you. Only you know what is best for you. I can't tell you what is, and neither can anyone else on here.

To be a CT of either type you have to be able to make it through a Special Background Investigation and get a TS/SCI Clearance. Is your personal history since the 3rd Grade completely spotless?

I got ATC.. I've heard it's high stress and a lot of people drop out because of it. I just got out of meps yesterday and I'm rethinking my rate. I'm sure they promote fast but stay away from doing anything you know you might not be happy with

They'd gladly pay to complete your radiology license I"m guessing, and starting it already shows your motivation.
