Im looking to buy a new truck. Grew up in a Chevy family and have only owned a Chevy. Traded it in last year to buy something more fuel efficient since i was living in San Antonio. Now that im in a smaller town i wanna buy another but im undecided. I love Chevy but i wouldnt mind buying a F-150 or Ram if i know theyre reliable enough to last me 6-7 years. Give me yalls thoughts and opinions.

Hi. I m a 22 year old guy, I live in Military City, USA AKA San Antonio, Texas. Im wanting to join the military but im unsure which branch I want to join. I ve taken my asvab a year and a half ago just in the case of me wanting to join happened, I would have it out of the way already lol I m very passionate in the medical field. So with that in mind Id want to join the Navy and pursue an enlistment as a Corpsman and either go FMF or any other specialty I can get into. If I go Air Force I d be open to any medical jobs that are returned open are returned the time. I know it s much harder to get a job I want in the AF than in the Navy. What I m unsure about is if Id want to sacrifice the awesome quality of life in the AF over possibly getting my dream job as a Corpsman and take a hit in the quality of life aspect. I initially was set on going to the Navy because of the extensive traveling around the world they do, but I ve heard being a Corpsman, they don t ever get deployed on ships, which I find a bummer because that was a big problem on going Navy. Thank yall in advance. Also I d prefer answers from people that know info on each branch and/or job based from if you are in these fields, personal experience, etc. Just sone I know I m getting an answer from the source.

I'm wanting to buy a Pre-Owned car in the coming weeks and ive narrowed it down to three cars that i like the most. All three I would like to be newer models. A Chevy Impala, Kia Optima, or Ford Fusion. Let me know which one is the best in your opinion and If you own one of these or have experience with any of them feel free to tell me the pros and cons. This time last year I went through MEPS aND enlisted in the USAF. I was supposed to leave to BMT on Dec 1, 2015. Some unfortunate things happened and I ended up not going. Looking back on it now I regret getting out of DEP, and I really really have a desire to go in, but I'm afraid they might not let me if I tried again, and that's all I want. I've since then moved to San Antonio, the gateway to the AF. Do you think if I went to a recruiter and explained everything that happened, what led to me getting out before my ship date and that all I really want is to join that he/she would give me a chance? Because dam I regret it so much.. Just give me your thoughts.

I'm currently in college to become a Radiology Tech, but joining the Army has been on my mind alot. I took my ASVAB a couple months ago and made a list of jobs that I have interest in and qualify for. If you are any of these MOSs, I would like if you could tell me about them, it would really help me out in my decision.

I've been needing a good running shoe to build up my endurance because I'm joining the Navy and want to start getting my run time up to par with the PT requirement. Which one is better than the other??

I recently decided to switch from the Air Force to the US Navy, I already took the asvab while I was in AF DEP. I went and talked to the recruiter this morning and based on my scores he printed out a page with all the jobs I qualify for. I was in college for radiology but it didnt work out financially, but Ive wanted to be in the medical field since i was a freshman in high school so being able to become a Hospital Corpsman would be great. It's overmanned but he said he could pull a few strings to possibly get me in. I'm not getting my hopes up so I wouldn't mind considering other jobs I qualify for, I'd like for yall to tell me, out of these jobs I listed, which ones are equally as good jobs. If you have had any of these jobs, I'd love to hear about your experiences with them. My dad is prior Navy and helped me choose a few good ones, which I have taken some interest in and have marked them with a asterisk. Thanks!

Me and my mom are trying to decide where to go spend a few days before I leave for the Air Force. We will be going in November. I was deciding between California, Los Angeles to be specific because I was born there but after a year, picked up and moved to Texas and would love to go back to see the city I was born in. On the other hand, I'd love to go and visit Colorado Springs or Denver because of the scenery and whatever else Colorado has to offer during that time of the year. We will be spending 4 days max. Hi! I just recently joined the Air Force and signed my job contract for a Crew Chief in Airlift/Special Misson Maintenance - C-20/21/22/37/40/E4/VC25" for 4 years. I know the general run around of what this job is all about. But I'm just wanting to hear from someone that has done this job before or any aircraft maintenance in the Air Force, and would like to know about your entire experience in this career field. As in the day to day lifestyle, camaraderie, the ups and downs to it and etc. I leave December 1st for BMT and your answer would really help me shed some light on this. If your going to a seer please explain as much as you can and thouroughly, I'll greatly appreciate it!

I took the ASVAB a couple months ago and went through MEPS for the Air Force last week. My AF ASVAB scores were: Mechanical - 58, Administration - 55, General - 49, & Electronics - 70. I was just wondering what's the best jobs I could possibly get with those scores. Thanks!

I'm planning on buying a truck but I'm stuck in deciding which one. I'm not a person that prefers one brand over another. As of right now I have a 2005 Tundra 2wd SR5 4D. I'm gonna trade that in and use what I get for it as my down payment. I'm deciding between a 2007-2012 Chevy Silverado 1500/2500HD 4WD 4D LTZ or a 2009-2012 Ford F150 Lariat/King Ranch/Platinum 4WD 4D. And if I decide to get a F150 idk if a Ecoboost is even worth getting over a 5.0. Whats your opinion and why? If your a Chevy or Ford owner at heart, tell me why one is better than the other. Don't just say, because it's a Ford or Chevy
