Why does the bible at john14 :30 and john 12: 31 both call satan " the ruler of the world " ?

I think it's because Satan took what Adam had. Satan was a cursed angel in the Garden of Eden. He didn't have access to God and Heaven, but he took it from Adam. So Adam didn't just fall, becoming sinful. Satan had extra motive; to take the inheritance of Adam, which included rulership over the world. We don't tend to think of Adam as a king, but I think that fits in just right. Hence, there were other people on the earth, and Adam's son Cain married one of them.

Because he IS the ruler of the world since Adam and Eve chose to disobey God and obey Satan. God has allowed this time to prove that mankind cannot adequately rule himself indepent of God's direction. Soon, Jesus will take over rulership of the earth and Satan will be abyssed and eventually destroyed. Until that time we will see conditions on the earth get progressie worse.

Because Christians are not Jews and don't seem to understand that such a statement is blasphemy. It gives Satan control of Gods world, making him equal to God.

It is an insult to Judaism to blame Christianity on their belief system. They have nothing in common, including God.

Because he attempts to influence people for evil such as an evil king might through his evil, while God Almighty influences people for godliness, the King of kings and Lord of lords, for he is holy.

Being said, the devil can't make us do a single thing, he can only tempt us, Jesus proved that in Matthew 4.

We have to go back to the beginning when Adam and Eve sinned, they questioned his sovereignty, so from then on Jehovah permitted for a certain amount of time for humans to lead themselves on earth. Once God allowed humans to rule themselves, it also allowed Satan to take control of human conditions on earth. When Jesus came to earth after his baptism he was tempted by the Devil after 40 days in the wilderness.

Matthew 4:8,9 says in regard to one of the temptations of Satan say: "Again the Devil took him along to an unusually high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. And he said to him: "All these things I will give you if you fall down and do an act of worship to me." Satan would be unable to offer those kingdoms if they were not under his rule. When the rebellion began in the garden of eden, Jehovah's sovereignty was questioned in front of millions of angels in heaven. Thats why God has permitted man to rule themselves under the influence of Satan. So clearly Jehovah does not rule earth. The situatuion is so bad that we can see who truly is the cause of the problems of today. Because of the rebellion of our first father's. That is why 2 Corinthians 4:4 says that the god of this system of things has blinded the minds of many.

Satan has made many believe that God rule's this system, and that the cause of Suffering is God himself. Which is a lie of the god of this system of things that wants those to believe he continues to rule.

Satan obviously rules in the minds and hearts of people in their secular world view whether they realise it or not. In a Godless world, everything is permissible and we all pay the consequences.

Because it is under his control and God has given him that authority for a short period of time. However although he rules it he is not the creator of it. Rev. 4:11

because satan is the ruler of the world. he is the one who influences atheists to do bad bad things. like murder, rape, drugs. alcohol etc.

true christians don't have satan's bad influences running their lives.
