Quarter Puerto Rican?

Is being a quarter Puerto Rican a lot? My last name is Irish and I don't look Rican or neither grew up with the culture. Would you consider me it?

    No. If you didn't grow up in Puerto Rican culture then it means very little.

    Your ethnicity is your culture so you are not ethnically Puerto Rican. 25% is not a lot.

    Just stick with being American or whatever.

    Also surnames are not belong to nationalities. Just because you have a surname that sounds like it had roots in Ireland doesn't mean you have Irish ancestry.
