    That sounds Duotarian not Trinitarian as you leave out the Holy Ghost!

    Denying the Holy Ghost could earn you eternity in Hell!

    If all that sounds very silly to you it would be no wonder to me...

  • Accepting Jesus The Christ for who and what he is, and what he has done for one personally is a major part of the Salvation process.....

    I have received God's Free, and Eternal, Gift of Salvation(Salvation)...by coming to Him in The Way He prescribes.. I know this with absolute certainty.... and I do not "believe that Jesus is God... and I do not accept the trinity doctrine...... but... I also know that those who do can also receive God's Free Gift of Salvation... ..the rest of the story is a bit long so I will not post it here

    It is Trinitarian. That means that Jesus believed in the Holy Trinity of which He is a part. This is a proof-text that Jesus is God.

    Trinitarian makes it easier to understand. I suppose that a human only Jesus being an intermediary for the spiritual would suffice, but being Trinitarian, that is not my problem

    Not at all, if we cannot accept that which humans have seen there is no chance of accepting that which they have not seen.

    Jesus is the mediator between the Father and sinful humans, the Almighty is to holy for us in our current state of degradation to deal with directly.

    It sounds like it . But I would say that the person realizing that accepting the son so that the Father can accept them can be done without using the word "trinity". God didn't use the word, so why should any church demand they use the word?

    It means if you wish to reach Heaven. Then you better have Jesus as your Savior. Or ya all will end up in a very warm place for Eternity. That's like FOREVER.......

    I thought the father is the son, the son is the father and their both ghost. So simple and logical

  • You have to believe and exercise faith in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, in order to worship God in spirit and truth. There is no trinity.

    Consider the headship principle in Corinthians:

    "[The] head of every man is the Christ;

    in turn, the head of a woman is the man;

    in turn, the head of the Christ is God." (1 Co 11:3)

    If a husband requires his children to approach him through their mother, they show respect to both of them by doing so, as well as to our Creator, who set up the headship principle. It does not make them either a trinity or a duality, does it? No. The Christian husband may invite his wife's input before making decisions, but, he has the responsibilty of making the final decision in matters of worship.

    In a business, employees may be required to speak first to their supervisors, rather than taking everything straight to the business-owner or president of the company. This does not make the supervisors equal to the owner or president in any way, does it? No.

    That Christians are required to approach God "in Christ's name", indicates that they recognize who he is, and his perfect human sacrifice to repurchase mankind from imperfection & resulting death . . . not that they view Christ as equal to his Father.

    Notice what Jesus said in the following verses:

    "In that day you will know that I am in union with my Father

    and **you are in union with me and I am in union with you**." (John 14:20)

    "[Rejoice] that I am going to the Father, for **the Father is greater than I** am." (John 14:28)

    “Holy Father, watch over them . . . so **that they may be one just as we are one**." (John 17:11b)

    “I make request . . . concerning those putting faith in me . . . so **that they may all be one**,

    just as you, Father, are in union with me and I am in union with you, that **they also may be in union with us**. . .

    I have given them the glory that you have given me, in order that **they may be one just as we are one**." (John 17:20-22)

    Christ, his Father, and all true Christians are in complete agreement of thought & purpose . . .

    in other words, they are **united as one in thought & purpose.**

    Two verses in Corinthians show how early Christians understood what Christ said:

    "Now I urge you, brothers, through the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you should **all speak in agreement** & that there should be **no divisions** among you, but that you may be **COMPLETELY UNITED in the SAME mind & in the SAME line of thought**." (1 Corinthians 1:10)

    "Finally, brothers, continue to...**think in agreement**...

    and the God of love and of peace will be with you." (2 Corinthians 13:11)

    Which harmonizes perfectly with Jesus' statement:

    “Believe me...the hour is coming, and it is now, when the **true worshippers** will worship the Father with spirit -and- *truth*, for indeed...those worshipping him *must* worship with spirit and *truth*.” (John 4:21, 23-24)

    True Christians accept Christ as God's Word itself teaches regarding him. They accept him as God’s means of salvation, and, God’s appointed King of his heavenly Kingdom that will rule the entire earth. God also requires that they obey Jesus and apply his teachings in their lives, to meet the requirements for gaining everlasting life.

    That is why the Bible states:

    “The one who exercises faith in the Son has everlasting life;

    the one who disobeys the Son will not see life.”—John 3:36.
