Motorbike carburettor problems?

I've rebuilt my 1982 gs550, have a good spark from coils, engine is turning nice and fuel is getting into carbs, but it's not trying to catch/start up.

Seems to me like the fuel delivery??

Any ideas on how to trouble shoot the issue? Where's best place to start?

Start by trying to start again. Stop. Pull out a spark plug or two, inspect it for wet fuel. If none the carbs need cleaning, the jets are clogged. Because it has four carbs they need to be syned to each other to work properly after the cleaning.

Before re-installing those clean carbs install an in-line fuel filter below the petcock, that bike is old enough to have fuel varnish build-up and if you are using E-fuel that varnish will turn into tiny flakes to re-clog those jets again because of the alcohol content in E-fuel.
