What will happen to a child s personality if he/she never gets to know his/her paternal grandparents?

I don't think there is much of an effect on the child's personality because they are not the immediate caretakers in their lives. They just won't know their grandparents. I never knew any of my grandfathers which hasn't effected me much, I just can't relate when people talk about their granddad but that's all.

Not knowing the parents seems to have a profound impact on a child. Not knowing the grandparents doesn't appear to be much of a factor

Nothing. Just curious at how they were like but.. Mommy and Daddy can tell stories of what the grandparents were like.

I never knew my patetnal grandparents- and im doing just fine
