Since you are going to the border town for one day, your passport card for land travel and Mexican auto insurance for one day. It would be better if the car was in your name and not your fiance. Carry your bank debit card to withdraw pesos from the bank atm's in shopping centers (centro commercial) or obviously next to the bank. A travel plan of which places you wish to visit or travel to unless you are visiting friends or family and traveler common sense.
