Does gas go bad?
I work for a oil refinery we sometimes get gas in. And can take it after a certain period of time, i found a few gallons that are from 2-4 years ago, but when we store gas we put them in glass bottles and seal them properly. Will i still be able to put this in my car?
Can i just add like a gas booster to it? or is it fine if i blend it with more current gas? o.e tank is half and i add a quarter of this gas to it

You can put anything in your car that is pourable. But I wouldn't put 2-4 year old gas in it and not expect to have problems. I can't believe that a refinery would store a flammable liquid in a glass container. You obviously haven't had a visit from OSHA or the fire department's safety inspectors. That is an absolute NO NO.

If it looks good just pour a couple of gallons into your next 2 tankfuls no biggie. Depends on what "bad" is old gas will not cause damage at all only an IDIOT thinks so however your car may not run if you put it in at 100% that is why we ask for it to be diluted with good gas.

Yes, gasoline goes bad, which is why they sell gas stabilizer additives for your seasonal gas powered devices.

Risk vs reward. Money saved vs a visit to the mechanic. Gas is cheap now. I say do not bother.

As long as they were they labeled 2-4 years ago and it's in bottles, not a milk jug, I say dump that sh!it on in.
